Cottage Codence
Regardless of the form of government, there are always rulers and workers. The main difference between these systems lies in how earnings and assets are distributed. Adam Smith noted that producing goods requires land, capital, and labor. In a capitalist society, the landlord, bank, and workers each contribute and share in the earnings. But is this sharing equal or just? I don’t think so.
Instead of criticizing or resisting the system, I decided to use capitalism to my advantage. To do this, I need land, capital, and labor of my own.
When I was younger, I worked for a large corporation. I was proud of my work and well-rewarded, and people treated me with respect. Important people invited me to their functions, but I knew their respect was for the company I worked for, not for me personally. As soon as I realized this, I left corporate life.
Regardless of how respectable a job may seem, a person without financial, occupational, and societal freedom is just a temporary fixture in the system, disposable with an expiration date. I didn’t want that. I realized that an independent contractor, such as a carpenter, has more freedom than a corporate executive who hires the carpenter. So, I decided to be a free man.
Below, I will post independent works that interests me.

Don't Get Me Wrong !
I am not against capitalism. It is far better than other systems in human history. I am just trying to maximize its benefits.
Flex Time
I want to work my 40 hours when I want to, compressing them into the first week of the month and spending the rest of the time doing things I enjoy. While making more money of course.
Better Boss
I don't mind having a boss; I just don't want a clueless boss telling me I'm wrong when I'm actually right. I want to choose my boss who I can inspire. Work as a freelancer, or as a contractor.
Tangible
I don't want to chase rainbows. Instead, I want to work on tangible things I can touch, feel, and be proud of. Chasing papers is like chasing a rainbow—it’s an illusion, always out of reach.
Seasonal
I want to work seasonally, not five days a week every week. I hate that routine. I want to travel the world for a month in spring and a month in fall when life is slower and airports are quieter.
Sharing Knowledge for a Better Life
I'm here not to sell anything or profit financially. My sole purpose is to support fellow Asian Americans in adapting and living better lives, and in return, I hope to receive support and insights from others. If you're a business person, I invite you to share your expertise with the Asian American community.
